LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY & Beginner hockey skating school
Beginner Hockey Skating School (BHSS- II) For ages 4 to 14 and is devoted to teaching novice skaters who are interested in playing ice hockey and players who completed BHSS I or equivalent next level basic skating fundamentals while learning to handle a stick and puck in full hockey equipment and hockey skates.
Learn to Play Hockey (LTP) For ages 4 to 14 and is devoted to enhancing the hockey skills needed to advance beginner players into youth ice hockey who completed BHSS II or equivalent.
For both LTP and BHSS II multiple sessions may be needed to be proficient enough to move into our Spring League or our General House/Limited Travel program. Every week the players will work on skating skills, puck skills, and partake in some type of game to keep them coming back for more. Each class is one hour long. Every week the players will also partake in some type of game to keep them coming back for more.
LTP/BHSS-II REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Every participant is required to wear an approved ice hockey helmet with cage, neck guard (LTP Only), elbow pads, gloves, cup, shin guards, shoulder pads, pants and stick. Rental skates are available at no extra charge. Used equipment may be available to help off-set the initial cost of starting in hockey.
