JUNIOR LIVESTOCK AUCTION
ATTENTION EXHIBITORS
due to recent changes with the auction website, exhibitors are not able to see any add-ons contributed to their sale lots. At the conclusion of the livestock auction accounting process, exhibitors will receive a consignors statement as they do each year that includes all details of auction purchases and any additional add-ons.
THE DELAWARE STATE FAIR BEGAN 105 YEARS AGO ON THE FOUNDATION OF COMMUNITY AND STRONG AGRICULTURAL ROOTS.
Each year, the Junior Livestock Auction continues that tradition by giving back to the youth participating in the livestock program at the Delaware State Fair. The Junior Livestock Auction represents the culmination of a full year’s hard work and dedication, completing an important early agribusiness education program.
Each year over 350 exhibitors select their sheep, pig, goat, or beef animal to compete at the Delaware State Fair. Judges then select the cream of the crop to be showcased in the Junior Livestock Auction. Community leaders, businesses, and supporters assemble to reward the winning exhibitors at the Junior Livestock Auction. Supporting Delaware youth creates invaluable possibilities and enables growth and potential.
