    1. Parade of Livestock Champions at 6:00PM in the Quillen Arena featuring the distribution of a special Parade of Champions Centennial Year participation ribbon to those marching in the parade (with or without animals)

  10. Saturday 7/27
    1. Gladys Knight in the M&T Bank Grandstand
    2. Big Bigger BIGGEST Fireworks following the grandstand show. A true centennial finale! Alternate date to be considered will be after Reba’s concert (1st Saturday) if the forecast is calling for great clear weather conditions that day. It’s a good hedge against bad weather the last day of Fair with no alternate fireworks shooting night available in the schedule. If Reba plays to poor weather then plan for the big shoot the last Saturday after Gladys.


  1. Fair centennial license plate can now be purchased at all DMV lanes.
  2. Tastykake butterscotch krimpet daily distribution evenings in the Plaza in conjunction with stage entertainment and other sites and locations depending on daily inventory available. 30,000 2-packs will be purchased.
  3. Budweiser Clydesdales team and hitch display will be on-property in the machinery lot each day except Wednesday July 24th (part of their union contract…9 days on 1 day off, they are headed to spend the day at the beach …Dewey Beach at the Starboard). The team and carriage will be featured in the nightly parade. The team will be on display during all operating hours.
  4. All ribbons awarded shall bear the centennial logo and the placement.
  5. Exclusive Fair centennial craft beer (light pilsner) developed by Big Oyster and available in the Roost and concert beverage sales locations.
  6. Centennial themed campsite (exhibitor) decorating competition in the Grove, central and south camping.
  7. Centennial exhibition at Delaware Archives (main Rotunda entrance) in Dover running from April 23, 2019 – August 31, 2019.
  8. Treasured Traditions soft-bound book sales via Amazon ($35).
  9. Continuous screening of Treasured Memories Fair video in the Exhibit Hall.
  10. Sale of Reflections of the Fair video DVD via office front desk ($20).
  11. Fireworks each night except Sunday (Demo Derby) and 2nd Thursday/Governor’s Day (Harness Racing).
  12. Centennial merchandise including the special issue centennial coin can now be purchased via the Fair’s website linked to ASAP Embroidery’s order portal offering apparel, coins, etc.
  13. Introduction of a very special Touch-A-Truck 9,500 s.f. outdoor display area featuring as many as 8 – 10 different giant trucks, special vehicles and construction equipment that children will be invited to sit in the driver’s seat, climb on (with adult supervision) and pose for pictures. Several vehicles will be rotated in and out throughout the 10 days. Vehicles may include: fire trucks, ambulance, police vehicle, air boat on a trailer, concrete truck, sewer jetter truck, electric bucket truck, small excavator, dump truck, DART bus, grader, dune buggy, etc. Display area will be adjacent to Wade Shows’ Kiddie World.

  15. Parade of Champions:  If you did not get a chance to catch the livestock shows during the week then swing on by the Quillen Arena to see what hard work these youth put into their livestock to win Grand or Reserve Champion!  Its the Parade of Champions
