Entries can only be made online via the Delaware State Fair’s website beginning 9:00 AM April 1, 2020 thru 11:59 PM June 1, 2020.

Poultry and Rabbit Show Date and Time

  1. Rabbit Show Date: Sunday, July 26 at 9:00 AM
    1. It is recommended that Rabbit Exhibitors be present during judging, but this is not mandatory.
  2. Poultry Show Date: Monday, July 27 at 10:00 AM
  3. Youth Poultry Showmanship Date: Friday, July 31 at 3:00 PM

Poultry and Rabbit Arrival and Departure Specifications

Poultry, Waterfowl & Rabbits will be accepted on Friday, July 24 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM except during the hours of 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (parade in session). We will also be accepting Poultry, Waterfowl & Rabbits on Saturday, July 25 from 9:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Please use Gate 3 (Fairground Rd) to deliver poultry/waterfowl and rabbits and then exit Gate 3 after unloading. Poultry/Waterfowl & Rabbits must be removed between 8:00 AM and 12:00 Noon on Sunday, August 2. After this hour they will be left at the owner’s risk.

It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to read all General Animal Exhibitor Rules. These rules can be found in the exhibitor’s handbook. NOTE: The Board Policy as defined in the General Animal Exhibitor Rules, Section B.(8.), regarding minimum age for exhibitors does not apply to Poultry Department Exhibitors.
